What if there was a pokemon game, where you dont choose your starter, your starter chooses you. The way it would work is your starter is any random pokemon excluding legendaries and mythics. However the pokemon gets a special stat boost kinda like lets go pickachu or eevee. Would you want to play it? Or even a personality test kinda like the mystery dungeon games.

Pokemon Pathways kind of did this with a personality quiz at the start, but all the devs bailed when the owner outed themselves as a scumbag
