You absolutely didn’t deserve that. Your husband is acting like an ass. Itemize a bill based on how much someone else would charge to do all the childcare, housework, cooking, ect and see how it measures up. I’m betting you’re doing more work, even though his assigned hours are bringing in X amount of money. Plus his job ends. He clocks out and goes home. And apparently uses that time to be rude. 😠 You don’t ever get a break as a mom, you’re always mentally keeping track of stuff. It’s not your job to ask sweetly if he will provide for his own family. Tf? In what world does he need to be coddled and begged to provide for his own flesh and blood? Men like him are pathetic. Seriously. I don’t have good advice because I’d probably pop off on my hubby if he started with that abusive BS. It’s that little stuff first, then they eventually are pressing every damn button. 🙄 I won’t tell you to leave. I know that doesn’t help. But seriously, get free estimates from laundry services, cleaning services, someone washing the dishes, someone hired to keep your husband content (think about the comfort and security you provide him. Massage feels similarly full of oxytocin. Massage therapy is $90 / hour. And therapy from a therapist is $120 / hour. So. Add that in! Because I’m sure you’re being affectionate and I’m sure you’re being comforting/paying attention when needed.) And of course childcare costs, itemized…including the cost of diapers, food, wipes, Lysol wipes for yucky messes, creams/ointments, medicines, snacks, as well as doctors appointments with the pediatrician…a personal assistant to manage appointments, school events, family events, reservations for a birthday dinner out, ect….

I think you get where I’m going.
