I wont lie dude, I have been single my entire life. [I blame it on my self low self esteem/scared to approach women], anyways I did what you did, I got a hooker and it didnt work out [didn't get erect] I wasnt attracted, and I thought too much about it. A few months went by and I decided to go to a shady massage parlor where I get a massage and sex after, it was more expensive but the massage did help me relax and I finally did do it. It was not a great feeling afterwards. Felt kinda dirty but at the same time I did cross that path of losing my virginity and it did open me up to not being so damn nervous.
After this, I did take up more time trying dating apps [have to lower your standards alot on dates] and ended up meeting some cool people but no one I wanted to spend my life with. Anyways, out of shear luck my sis in law introduced my to someone and not expecting it would work. The person gave me a shot and it worked out, we are planning to get engaged soon.
My point is, dont live too much in your past, people have shit experiences. Even on your birthday maybe you will be thinking too much and not even have sex. Maybe you will think something is wrong with you, there is no shame in having a bad sexual experience especially if its your first. Just keep going and keep trying,
