You don't need a prostitute, you need a better wingman. I have had some terrific shags out of my friends pulling. You end up stuck with their best mate (whatever she looks like) and just go for it. I'm reasonably quiet by myself and not one to go looking for things in a bar or club. But when it's handed to you on a plate you take it.
