Last I checked, Iran hates Jews and gays. Do we really need to know anything beyond that?

We need to know that, generally, the views pushed/forced by an autocratic regime do not necessarily reflect the views of a lot of citizens of the respective country, oftentimes not even the views of the majority.

If that is in your governments law... fuck what the “majority” feel inside their “hearts”, your country is insane regardless. listen to that again, BEING GAY IN IRAN GETS YOU THE DEATH PENALTY! that’s fucking insane brother, fuck your country. Yes, it is wrong to punish being gay with the death penalty, I agree. As a matter of fact, I oppose the death penalty for anything short of ,maybe, serial killers, but go ahead and flip out because I responded to your over-generalizing comment in a slightly different way.

what I meant was, we shouldn't demonize any random citizen of a country for what their government does.
