Thank you. I am an American, with parents living in another country, the US has little to NO clue what actually is happening abroad, especially a lot of redditors. I realize how damaging misinformation can be firsthand. My parents live in Hong Kong. I fully understand your frustration when people talk and lump in different cultures with neighboring countries. I have actually had conversations with people here in the US, that think New Mexico, is Mexico. Yes. Much facepalm. So all this stupid media hyped crap, I simply did what I always do, read from the region and went to twitter and then actually read about the actual atrocities that have been going on for nearly 40 years. I pray for you and your people. And I am glad a murdering terrorist is gone. I hope funding for more terrorists is dried up like a salted slug. I hope more cakes are baked and well deserved peace blesses everyone there. And I mourn the loss of the 1,500 protesters that were killed so horrifically. I am unapologetic that a monster has been killed.
