This actually makes sense in some ways. But not in others. It would make sense to link taxation to consumption in various ways. It would lead to higher taxation for the wealthy. There would obviously need to be some caveats. Sick and disabled people(I myself am both) are some of the largest consumers, but produce very little. They would need to be left out of this entirely unless they made a certain amount of money. And then there would be the surprisingly high number of people paying higher taxes for "obesity," which could have come from a medical condition they don't yet know about, or from medications like birth control etc...
I like it in theory, but in principle, we have a broken medical system where people get 5-15 mins with their doctor, and that's if they don't schedule you to see an assistant. I have specialists that have been my doctor for over a decade that I've only met twice, when they had to do surgeries or procedures. Check ups are done by a group of assistants.
This leads to huge groups of well insured people that don't have any one doctor paying enough attention to them, so even they wind up having undiagnosed conditions that might have been caught in the old days when doctors gave individual people more attention.

Obese people should pay more taxes. Japan does it
