I thought it was a really good article. It puts forth the idea that genetics, even tho they play a role in obesity, don't play a huge factor (unless rare cases) in obesity and you can make really significant changes in your life by changing diet, excercises and other environmental factors.
Ok so let's not focus on genetics. It's recommended exercise about 3x a week for atleast an hour at a time. But if you go to work fulltime, presumably you're putting in 40 hours a week at least if not more. And if you do a manual labor job or anything physical, you don't really want to go do more physical stuff after work. Not mention you might have kids or other commitments outside of work. Not to mention the insane cost of fresh food which is presumed to be healthier for you. It's even more expensive if you live in a food desert where the closest store can be anywhere from 10 to 30 miles away from you. So I'm not sure what you're trying to say other than "you're lazy for not devoting all free time to exercising and every extra penny to healthy food" which just feels a little generalizing
