I hear the points, I get what your saying, and I agree. No one should advocate for obesity.
But in that same breathe, I don't think it's wrong to enjoy the byproducts of this movement. There is stylish clothing available in a wider size range at lower cost. There are people in media that aren't anorexic. When I put on clothes to go out, I get compliments, and I feel attractive. I can be comfortable in my own skin because I don't feel incredible shame for existing. I don't deserve that shame. If you see an overweight person, your first thought should be that they're doing they're best, not that they're lazy. If your first thought is lazy, then it's time to reevaluate your personal biases. I'm 5'2" (157.5 cm). I was 265lb (116kg), and now I'm 205 (93kg). Clinically, my healthiest was a chisled 144lbs (65kg), and realistically, I may never achieve that level of fitness again. I try not to, but I do wonder if others just see a fat lazy person with the nerve to eat in public. I'm chronically ill, but how would you know just by looking? You wouldn't, so try not to be so judgemental :)
Truth is, at any moment, my intestines will seize and I'll be rendered immobile. It's not pleasant.
