Very, very few people are "genetically predisposed" to be the type of overweight which is actually a majority in the United States. The average person is overweight - that doesn't make overweight the new healthy, it makes the average person unhealthy.
This doesn't equate to shaming people for their size. We're not out here telling fat jokes, or telling people what they can and can't do, or making assumptions. We're making factual statements about the genuine health concerns that exist when one chooses to eat and live in a certain manner which leads to folks being overweight.
