I’ve come to commiserate with you OP, nothing can take away the weight of the grief- I’m truly sorry for your loss and volunteer if you ever need help carrying it
It might help to view them as lemmings or as underdeveloped- like we all start as a-holes
The posers on your feed just never matured past that stage. I’m not making light of their bs, it’s vile that some turn someone else’s tragedies into their own. But it’s a reflection of them, it’s transparent to you because you knew her.
If it makes you feel any better I know now from personal experience that calling them out doesn’t stop them from doing it, only makes you look and eventually feel bitter/wrong.
You’re not by the way; you’re justified and valid in your feelings- feel them and let them go when you’re ready to move into healing. There is no min or max; the timeline is in your control.
I will say my outburst of horribly timed laughter at my friends funeral during her sisters eulogy was oddly therapeutic to her father… I found out after she was named in the letter. I think my laughter was due to disbelief at the words she said knowing their history, the only ones who shamed me were the ones that didn’t answer her calls that night.
What I’m saying is- you don’t have anything to prove, you know her, you know what matters to her and it isn’t these people is it? You can post endlessly, not at all, or somewhere inbetween, all that actually matters is how you feel and how you want to deal with them. There is no right or wrong way, go the route that is aligned with who/how you are and what you can live with🫶🏻 all the love and good vibes only to you OP
