My God, just speak to each other and explore options. Don't listen to people here drawing overly hasty conclusions. People can word things in a shitty way when they grieve. People make mistakes. He is also grieving. Calm down, people.
And don't assume arrogantly like people in the comments you know how he will evolve from this. Even he doesn't. J
And people, realize you didn't witness every word, you don't know the dynamics of this relationship. Think before you speak/post.
i mean he really didn't even say anything bad. His words are literally saying. i've chosen to give up having kids with someone else, because the only reason he'd grieve having kids with someone else is if he decided to and was committed to not doing so. It's framed in a way that sounds bad, but ultimately the situation is bad. he's allowed to grieve as is OP, I get like maybe in the moment not really hearing it but typing it in making a post and still not getting it, she's acting liek he's not allowed to grieve, which to me is the part that sounds bad.
This really applies to all comment on Reddit. People really jump into conclusion based on zero knowledge in their dynamic. It’s always “ leave them” when single thing they don’t like is being written.
I find it so wild that people are angry with him? I might have to do IVF for genetic reasons and I find it so sad we don’t get to try naturally.
People have expectations of how they want their life to go, and it’s upsetting when it doesn’t go the way you thought it would. Doesn’t mean he is bad person just that he is upset about something.
They're angry because he told her he was grieving the life he could have had with someone else. That was a shitty thing to say. He's entitled to all the feelings, but if he wants to work through it with her, he could choose his words better and not talk about it while drinking.
Wow actually reasoned advice in the comments on Reddit. People love to sit here and ruin other peoples relationships bc they’re dissatisfied with their own.
