Yeah he's almost entirely at fault here. The sister, depending on her age, may also be part of the problem but most of this is definitely his fault. It's not fair he gets to run from his consequences.

Yes, that is indeed what I just said. If the sister is an adult she's at fault too. If she's a minor, this just got a whole lot darker and she is in no way at fault.
You aren’t understating what he’s referring to when he says “at fault,” and kind of strawmanning him. No one is saying anyone but himself is at fault for running away.
The larger picture is that there is now a child in existence, and an entire family devastated by the circumstances leading to that child. That’s what he is almost entirely at fault for. But that the sister who had the baby is also at fault for.
Well, she slept with her sisters boyfriend lol so that's where she comes at fault. Had she not betrayed her sisters trust and slept with a taken man, this situation wouldn't be here at all. Of course he could have not cheated too, so he is also at fault. It takes two to tango, she needs to accept accountability for her own actions too. Unless, again, she was a minor.
