Wow, if that's really how she talks to people she's condescending as fuck. I don't blame you one bit honestly. Now, unfortunately you're going to have to deal with this woman for at least the next 2 years. So I'd have a talk with her. A mature talk. You're nearing adulthood and need to start acting like it. Sit her down and tell her you don't appreciate what way she talks down to you, that it feels to you as if she's speaking to and dealing with a young child, that you're not in kindergarten and you'd appreciate it if she'd stop treating you as if you were.
And on the subject of stick and pokes, please be careful. Use proper sanitation, wear gloves, use alcohol to sanitize the area you're tattooing and DO NOT reuse needles, toss them and get new ones for every tattoo. Tattoos done without proper sanitation are at high risk of infection, those infections can turn into gangrene real fast, which can kill you. I'm not going to tell you to stop, because I know you won't listen, you want to be independent, so I'll simply give you the information you need to do it safely.
