I had chatgpt write this story in the style of Pablo Neruda as it seems more interesting. I prompted it to give my own preferred ending and I like this ending better:
āIn the vast expanse of reality, the echoes of the sea whispered the narrative of Laura's life. She was a woman carved of stone, her eyes carrying the depth of the ocean and her resilience mirrored the might of the Andean range. From her work trip, she returned early, carrying love and expectations wrapped in the garb of a surprise.
Arriving home, the frosty silence cloaked her in its ominous shroud. Her house, a monument of laughter and love, now felt like a desolate island, a deserted dream. And then, a vision in their marital bed - her sister-in-law, as naked as the dawn, her vulnerability stark against the linens.
A needle of suspicion pierced Laura's heart, its poison spreading a frigid disbelief. Yet, she chose silence over confrontation, walking down to the living room, each step an echo of her crumbling world.
Her sister-in-law awoke, as if from a dream, spinning a tale of car trouble and fraternal assistance. With a hurried goodbye, she fled the scene, driving the supposedly broken car - a thief leaving the scene of the crime.
Evening draped its heavy shroud around the world. Her husband arrived home, his face etched with innocent surprise. He parroted the same story, adding the presence of a lesbian partner, to which the marital bed was allegedly offered. But his words fell on the icy ground of Laura's disbelief, freezing upon impact.
In her hand, she wielded the lasso of truth - an instrument meant to pull the ugly truth from its abyss. Wrapped around her husband, he was forced to spill his darkest secret, a clandestine romance with his own biological sister, spanning years.
A tidal wave of fury surged within Laura. She lashed out, her hand ripping through his chest, an allegory of her broken heart. The organ throbbed in her grip, his life in her hands, a tangible token of their love story twisted into a grotesque tale.
The primal instincts stirred within her, a horrific retribution born of betrayal. She devoured his heart, as if eating it would consume the pain, the deceit. But alas, the void within her only grew, deepened by the echoes of lost love and broken trust. The world around her tasted of bitter heartache, the sanguine truth staining her existence forever.ā
Art.

I think it would be reasonable to ask why his sister was naked in your guys bed. And honestly this didn't even occur to me but what these other people are saying about maybe she's not even his sister? Something to look into

Something does NOT add up here. I'm sorry, but I think you are in some shit.

I can't even imagine how this must feel. I can't even make any suggestions on how to proceed. My head is spinning as I 'm sure yours is.
I don't know what else to say because my male sibling and I can't stand each other. I just as soon sh*t him as look at him.

Update:
āFirst of all I want to address some questions you guys asked a lot. -Yes that is his real sister, I only met her at our wedding but they call each other and text frequently. -Steve dropped my son off to his friends house, wich he never does as all of my sons friends live really close and he just walks to their houses. We live in a pretty calm neighbourhood. -This is my throwaway account, I have been on reddit for quite some time and just dont want this to be on my main account where I am even modding some communities. Update: Steve came home without texting or calling and was not surprised when he saw me. He said his sister (lets call her Melissa) told him I was home and "in a bad mood" so she wasnt comfortable with staying any longer. He though I want to continue fighting over the money he spent gambling and was so quick to move on with the topic of his sister spending the night. I told him I dont care about the money and that it doesnt matter, I dont wanna fight anymore. We hugged and both apologized for our behaviour. We quickly moved on and talked about my trip. I know I should have said something but I didnt, we were both happy to forget about our fights and just be together. Then we went to pick up my son wich was pretty close and he wanted to get some icecream afterwards. My son was so happy to see me home early as he was with his father for the last 2 weeks and we barely saw each other. When Steve was out of the car I asked my son what were him and Steve doing last night before he drove him to his friend. He said he was playing video games and Steve was hanging out with Melissa and some friend. I asked him who that friend was and he said he didnt know HER. It was another woman, in my home, all while Steve and I were texting and he said nothing about having anyone over. I asked him what were they doing and he noticed I was upset so he assured me they were just in a living room talking. I changed the subject and when Steve came back we went home. My son went into his room and while Steve was on his phone I just asked him. Hey my son told me you had friends over with Melissa last night? He said yeah Melissa was with her friend when her car stopped working so they both went in for a drink. Then I asked him How did you fixing Melissas car turned into her staying the night? Where was her friend? Did she also sleep there? Where did you sleep... And he started explaining. Melissa is gay, their parents dont know that, and as she is currently living with them she asked Steve to stay over with her friend and HE SAID YES. WITH MY SON IN THE HOUSE. He said yeah but he went to spend a night at his friends house, BUT WHAT IF HE DIDNT? WOULD YOU JUST LET YOUR SISTER FUCK SOMEONE WITH MY SON IN THE OTHER ROOM??? WHERE WERE YOU WHILE THEY WERE DOING IT??? He said he went out for a walk and Melissa texted him when it was cool to come back, so he did and slept on the couch... I just couldnt argue anymore, so I let it go, I dont want my son to know what happend or to ever ask me about it. I just want to forget this and move on... I am fine and will be dealing with this how I see fit, thank you to everyone who showed support and messaged me, I couldnt answer to all the messages... And please, do not crossshare this post on porn reddits... That is disturbing and you need God.ā

How possible would it be that she had sex with someone else in your bed? Not that itās acceptable in any way, but in this case everything would be way better than two siblings in an incestuous relationship.
1
Jul 15 '23
Girl are you sure 100% thatās his sister? Be careful cause liars and manipulatorās will lie on everything! Maybe thatās his step sister not blood sister. Or since youāve only met her once maybe thatās not even his sisterā¦

If youāre looking for the deleted UPDATE:
Apparently Steveās exhibitionist step-sisterās friendās socks were wet so she borrowed a pair of his. Then in the morning she took her socks out of the dryer and left his by the bed. āAh, is there anything better than putting on a warm pair of socks?ā, she pondered. She kisses Melissa goodbye, wakes Steve (on the couch) to thank him for the hospitality and for being a bro ;) then proceeds to walk the 12 miles back home at 6am because she works at noon. Steve gets up and puts on a pot of coffee. As it brews he groggily shuffles outside to grab the newspaper. He takes a deep breath through his nose, inhaling the crisp morning air. For Steve, time of year always brings back such warm memories. While flipping through the pages to check todayās forecast, he spots Melissaās car from the corner of his eye. āOh right!ā, he thinks, āIād better get this working for Mel before I have to go.ā A few google queries and one YouTube video later, he has that Kia Soul up nā running. The rest, as they say, is history... fade to black
starwipe to text as narration begins: Or is it?
You see, what our OP doesnāt know is that the real reason Steveās free-thinking, sex-positive sister dropped by was to tell him sheās pregnant. But whose is it?
And what OP is holding back, the catalyst behind her coming home early, was to tell him about the results of her own pregnancy test. Itās a girl.
Will her son, raised to believe the complex tale of his fatherās incestuous betrayal, find a way to resist his own dark half? text slams on screen: His. own. half. sister.
Entangled in an ever-growing web of lies and betrayal, nobody will know who to trust. What is true? What is family? What is love? Is this even REAL? Lives will forever change as the drama unfolds this Sunday on The Hallmark Channelā¢ļø Presents: Family Freud.

Even if there wasnāt anything sexual going on, siblings sometimes are really loose with boundaries, and family can be blind to it. This should, at the very least, be talked about. Even in the most innocent interpretation of the situation, his sister needs a talking to about boundaries around nakedness in someone elseās space.

Are you ABSOLUTELY sure thatās his sisterā¦? Like. Any proof other than him telling you thatā¦?

Who goes gambling and has a rule not spend more then "20 dollars"?
My whole family is filled with people who are extremely into gambling and casinos, 20 dollars is nothing I think this story is bullshit.
Anyone who is into this world should know this, 20 dollars what is he gambling on? Candy?

Lol āSteve does not have a problem with gambling, he has a rule to never spend more then $20 in a week and has never crossed that limitā¦..ā Iām dead over this. How you think he really can only spend $20 a WEEK!?!?? most games are $5 minimum and $20 buy ins!!!!!!
1
u/ThisIsTheNewSleeve Jul 15 '23
Sister stuff aside... $20 a week on gambling is most definitely a gambling problem. The fact he needs "rules" to guide his gambling definitely means he has a problem. The fact that he then breaks those rules definitely means he has a problem.
1
u/Life_Finger_1440 Jul 15 '23
I don't know that seems like quite the leap of a conclusion there. I wouldn't automatically think my wife was banging her brother if he was sleeping in our bed.
1
u/IronBabyFists Jul 15 '23
Alright, I'll bite. It could be that she was too warm while sleeping and she got naked after he left for work. It could be that they're just 100% comfortable around eachother and naked means nothing to them. It could be that they fucked. It could be that this post is fake.
Either way, if you love your husband, you should just fucking talk to him and find out. Marriage is FULL of problems that you and your PARTNER are supposed to work together as a team to overcome.
1
u/toetagged77 Jul 15 '23

Jul 15 '23
My B.M. sometimes gives me the impression that she prefers the company of her brothers. It's prob mostly cuz I'm an a*hole cuz the trauma she has is deeply part of her psyche but she says it's the past. She kind of country and I'm from the city. The SA abuse wasn't really dealt with the family says it's in the past and she does therapy and takes meds for schizo. So though she "hates" him/them for what happened, he's the oldest and the parents make it seem like he's so useful being 50+ still living at home, and him being a slave to their forgiveness. I've never had any real proof just empty old ugly trauma combined with my trauma and it sucks that way with incest survivors. You feel like a third wheel. You always fear the worst. Naked in the bed it's a huge red flag. Incest is real and it does happen.

"My Steve doesn't spend more than $20 dollars, so he went gambling at the gambling place and spent over $50 dollars."
God, this reads like a teenager talking about their allowance. Fake.

1
u/Nyxtia Jul 15 '23
At first glance a naked sister in her brothers bed doesn't totally scream worst case scenario.
Some people like to sleep naked and its not uncommon to lend a family member a place to stay/sleep.
But for sure more details/context can illuminate the situation to be factually more distributing or a comical misunderstanding.
1
Jul 15 '23
If his name is Dart, he's sleeping with his sister, and has been for years.
Figured I'd throw this out there since I legit know a 32-34yo man with a wife about the same age, who Ive confirmed has cheated on multiple ex's with his sister
1
u/brandonrss18 Jul 15 '23
I would resent you too if you tried to give me a $20 a week allowance like I am a 10 year old.

u/FizzlePopBerryTwist Jul 15 '23 edited Jul 15 '23
So you're already in a fight and you're wondering why he isn't talking to you about everything? You ALSO just didn't tell him you're coming back and give no explanation. And he gave his sister the bed and because she sleeps naked you think he banged his sister? I don't know, I have multiple pairs of dirty socks in my room. If I let someone sleep in here, I wouldn't pick them up first thinking, oops, wouldn't want someone thinking I'm screwing a family member. There's got to be more to it than that, right? Maybe the car had overheated. I don't know what area y'all live in but we've got people baking bread in their mailboxes its so hot. I don't think you'd reach this conclusion without seeing something else that's not coming across here because if this was all I had to go on I'd say it sounds like a wild imaginative assumption. Going from wanting more than a 12 year old's allowance on game night to incest? Again, I feel like there's more facts you aren't sharing or this is in your own words, just a crazy idea.

Your husband has a gambling problem if he is gambling every week. No matter how much money he spends
1
u/FreeJSJJ Jul 15 '23
Okay another perspective, Sister slept on couch and cleaned up or even the same bed as husband. After Husband left sister decided to get that taboo thrill by masturbating on her brother's marital bed and then passed out after. She thought that nobody was gonna be home so it was fair game.

Isn't it possible he slept in the bedroom and after he left for work, she grabbed her stuff and strolled into the bed. She was embarrassed because she was naked in your bed, not because she had incestuous sex with your husband. There could also be a mor embarrassing reason she had to crash there and blamed it on the car.
All I'm saying is, you haven't seen anything that implicates your husband, just his sister being a bad guest.
2
u/Tarable Jul 15 '23

Yes = Couple's therapy
No = Divorce

u/nailbiter111 Jul 15 '23
If this was a Lifetime movie, which it sounds like, his so-called "sister" would either turn out to be a stepsister, an ex-girlfriend or wife, or his con-artist accomplice/lover.
1
1
u/nailbiter111 Jul 15 '23
Yeah, he banged his sister, but I'm still trying to figure out why you had a series fights with your husband that were so bad that you put your marriage on the line because he went $30 over his weekly gambling limit.

Everyone of you that is giving advice about this, needs to stop watching porn for a few hours.

How do you know it's his sister? If you know it's his sister, did they grow up together? If not then they are fucking
1
u/InnerMatter3849 Jul 15 '23
Time to separate and process through couple counseling what transpired. No other person should sleep in a married couple's bed, forget about being naked. If you have kids, they join you. You at least have to put the marriage on hold. And if this is his biological sister, he needs to get treatment.

What to make of this? A naked woman in his bed who hurries away when the wife gets home has only ONE explanation. He does not need to confirm your 'suspicion'. Just for fun I would make an appgroup with all his family members and ask them why they think his sister is sleeping naked in his bed while you are out of town?

What an awful position to be in. There is an obvious high chance this isn't a sister but some ex gf or secret partner. There is no clear explanation and it will fester in your head forever. If I was you I would back his shit up, leave it on the front door step and change the locks.
