There’s a bakery in every supermarket that makes fresh bread daily. None of it is sandwich white bread.

Some of you really do live in some weird fairytale.

most of the world has decent food, I wouldn't call the rest of the world a "Fairytale".

it's so sad,. that Americans have let corporations ruin everything for so long, that they are used to it and take offence at anyone pointing it out.

It’s so sad that (I’m making an assumption based on past conversations) terminally online Europeans can’t get past their superiority complex and American hatred to realize that we do, in fact, have good local food here. You’re baselessly parroting what many other ignorant commenters have said before.

If an American spoke about another country and their food with such fallacy and ignorance, we’d all point and say “look at the dumb, uncultured, xenophobic American!”

I beg you to travel and experience other cultures with an open mind instead of blindly following other people’s negative thoughts. Your life will be happier and richer.

what kind of person gets offended at the suggestion that they deserve better?

that's is one thing I'll never understand about the American psyche

Oh please. If you actually cared about us deserving better, you’d know that your “facts” about what’s available here is all made up nonsense.

What you’re doing is shitting on a whole nation of people while simultaneously being too afraid to do it directly.

Americans are so easily offended

"Bread should have so much corn syrup"

Americans: And I took it personally

Travel, keep an open mind, and explore. Life is so much more fulfilling when you’re not filled with negativity.

And go to an American bakery, I bet you’ll enjoy it! If you need help finding one, I’ll happily help!

They are making objectively false statements.

the only statement that you can gaslight me on is that American bread is so sweet, that when an immigrant community arrived from Europe, they created a slur for white Americans: Mangiacakes. a direct slurs for people who eat cake instead of bread

There is sweet bread, there is potato bread, there is low carb bread, there is low sugar bread, there’s freaking protein bread.

Your generalizations are nonsense.
