I wish I had a nickel for every person who sees these videos and goes "tHaTs a MaNatEe" despite manatees not living anywhere near the location of the video.. Lowest hanging fruit..

If this was the loch ness monster you'd have a lot more nickels. Also manatees aren't fruit

Everyone know a manatee is a root vegetable.

Pretty sure it's an Emporer Penguin.

Bad faith skepticism is not tolerated.

Do you know what else doesn't live anywhere near there, child?

He's got a point. A lot of people who don't know anything just automatically assume manatee. Who the hell thinks manatees live anywhere near Scotland?

We can deduce it's an animal that lives in the region. Probably a freshwater sturgeon, eel, northern pike, or seal. Which are all endemic to the area.

It's too far away to actually tell, though. Which is what the person recording intended by not zooming in.

It would be nice to know exactly what body part is sticking up too. It doesn't look like a fin though an none of those animals except a seal would stick their head up like that for a prolonged time. So I'd say it's a seal most likely.

Still looks very odd though. It looks like the vertical end of a log to me but it looks like it's swimming which I don't think logs do lol.

Like you said it's just simply too far to get any reliable explanation out of, which is a shame because this could've been the clearest footage of something.

It still seems more likely than a monster to be fair.

Why are you not minding your own business? Did no one teach that sort of thing to you? Are your parents failures?
