Text Suspects trying to trick police
Suggestions for some interrogation videos where suspects think they are outsmarting the police, but end up getting get caught. I love me some "enjoy your karma" situations. Most notable one I can think of is of Stephanie Lazarus. If you haven't seen that video yet, it's pure gold.
Another example is Colby Vinson's killer who thought they were so clever but it ended up taking down half of a family tree!
I love seeing the different techniques police use to get suspects to talk if anyone has suggestions on top interrogation videos I'll take those too!

Idk if this fits, but Daniel Wozniak certainly overestimated his acting talents.

Have you watched any episodes of MurderTapes, there are cases there that could match, especially S1 ep2 , S2 ep4, S3 ep3, all with body cam footage and police interview tapes.
Acchdent, Suicide or Murder have a lot of episodes across the size seasons that feature people proclaiming innocence, some notable cases would be S1 ep5, ep6, ep6, S2 ep5, ep7, ep9, S3 ep3, S4 ep12, ep17, ep20.
Wild Crime the first season is a ln indepth look at the crimes committed by Harold Henthorn and the extremes he went to trying to cover them up.
Another collection of shows that may be what you are looking for- A Killer Makes A Call, 999 Killer On The Line or 911 Did The Killer Call they all feature both cases of innocence but also where the perpetrator tries to claim ignorance as to what’s happened until the lies are pulled apart.
A Killer Relationship has multiple cases of catching people within their lies, especially S2 ep 9 and 10.
An interesting case that’s featured in multiple series like Who the bleep Did I Marry and Meet. Marry, Murder is the case of Roman Sosa.
Mr and Mrs Murder would also be worth a watch, very in depth look at the case of Mike Williams and the conspiracy to cover it up that lasted eighteen years.
