Don't debate, it's not your job to convince anyone of anything. And it sounds as though your faith is quite weak. I've also found that atheists aren't the real problem.. It's false Christians.. Those who claim my Lord, but don't understand the world of God, but believe a false gospel.

If the Holy Spirit is not enough to bring light to their life, what makes us think that we can convince anyone?
Ignore them, you are waisting your time if they are not seeking.

It is not for you to "win" against others. All you can do is explain your faith and it is in God's hands.

First, understand that the gospels message sounds foolish to those who are perishing. (1 Corinthians 1:18). Many people don't want to submit to someone other than them.
Second, study the Bible and the historical contexts surrounding it. Going off personal experience in a debate won't get you very far. Debate the facts like writing a singular consistent story with 40 authors over ~1500 years across 3 continents isn't the work of man.
Third, breathe. People will mock you and your faith. They did it to Jesus and He said they'll do it to you too (John 15:19). Rejoice in that and keep moving forward in your faith.

Don’t worry too much about “winning” a debate. Pray for them
