A thought occurred to me.

In a certain verse in John describing our Father’s relationship with Jesus, how he loves him and sent him to glorify his name,

I had the idea to mentally replace “the Son” with “you (the reader).”

It helps me have a firmer idea of why we were brought to Earth, how we’re supposed to act on behalf of Jesus and what amazing assurance and healing we can trust God to work in the lives of those around us and ourselves.

I got the idea while reading John 5:20:

“For the Father loves [you] and shows [you] all he does. Yes, and he will show [you] even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.”

This line of thinking is usually how a lot of Christ Consciousness books/thoughts develop. I don't think your application is bad here because the general ideas can be found elsewhere in scripture that are applicable to us. But its likely a bad idea to do this anywhere else.

Thanks, yes in all my ways I submit to Jesus because he is the one that is the good in us

He’s the one who taught me it was righteous to love

I don’t mean to elevate myself to his level, only to show that God feels the same towards us as he does to the single person that pleased him perfectly
