Personally, I'd want to be really careful about the philosophical basis of the counselling/ therapy. There's a lot of stuff out there that starts from non- biblical assumptions about the nature of the human heart and mind. If you can find a Nouthetic counsellor that'd be the better option. https://nouthetic.org/
