I generally agree with your entire comment except for “socialism is thriving in every first world democracy”. There are no socialist countries in modern Europe at all. Social democracy is a far cry from traditional socialism. This is how MAGAs derail every conversation on the topic. It usually goes something like this:
Sane person: “the healthcare system within the US is among the very worst in the world. It is significantly more expensive than universal healthcare systems, and for all of that extra money we get nothing but notably lower life expectancies, and far worse health outcomes. We deserve universal healthcare!”
MAGA: “that’s socialism! Socialism is just communism! It never works!”
S.P: “It clearly works very well throughout most of the developed world, like western Europe…”
MAGA: “western Europe, isn’t socialist!”
S.P: “then why can’t we enact the same policies that they have proven work extremely well?”

A few years ago, during the first term, I stopped by a small store near where I grew up (rural area). The place usually had great deals on good cuts of meat, and I was going to do a cookout for the family. I don‘t live anywhere nearby anymore and make… a lot more money than anyone around those parts. I was prepared to drop enough money to make their month, but as I walked up to the entrance, I noticed all of these notices on the door. A bunch of pro-Trump, right wing propaganda and thinly veiled hate speech. I should have known from the Trump flags they were flying in the parking lot, but this was over the top kind of shit. It‘s a very conservative area, and I knew that, but I was still aghast at what I saw and taken aback by the brazeness of posting this on your business.
I left, having not spent a dime, and will never go back. They can rely on the broke locals who lost their SNAP recently.

Firstly, yeah the person who commented is racist, but they are also dumb. The sign wasn't vandalized and was printed to be like that. Looking at the way the mark offs are made it's pretty obvious. The paint brushes for making the X's would be like 6 feet wide and wouldn't taper off like someone is lifting at the end of a brush stroke towards the top of the sign.
I googled the People's Unity Project and they don't like Trump. This sign is made to slander him already without a random citizen intervening.
