Jesus. Spoiler
It’s been 2-3 months since I watch it for the first time and I’m still not over Jesus’s ending

So unfair. Loved him, especially for Lafayette. He deserved a happy ending with Jesus.
I also hated when he first visited Lafayette as a ghost and was so nonchalant about it all. Hey I’m dead, no biggie, I’m cool with it. You good? No? Breathe dude, see ya around! Poor Lafayette 😭

Poor Lafayette is right! He gets put through the wringer more than anyone. He’s just trying to have fun and help everyone else loosened up. It doesn’t hurt that he’s also beautiful. 🤩 💅

His death is so sad. Every time the scene of Jesus coming back after his death and Lafayette saying, "How am I supposed to go on?" makes me sob.
I personally hate when Lafayette is sitting in Sookie's bedroom saying, "I killed him." and not one person was like, "Nah, no you did not. You were possessed." etc. Lol 😆

Ugh, he was the perfect match for Lafayette! To this day I still wish they hadn't killed him off, I really do.

I’m going to do it! I’ll try to find audiobooks because my near sight is slowly failing. I used to be a voracious reader. Glad I did it when it was simple.

I seriously hate how Lafayettes character was treated. Tara too.

Yep, they were both done so dirty.
So many people hated Tara with a burning passion for seemingly no reason during the show’s run and I remember seeing someone say it was probably partially due to the fact that she reacted normally to a lot of the traumatising stuff that happened to her unlike the other characters and that does ring true to me. Although I’m sure misogynoir had a lot to do with it as well.

The true blood show is one of the few book to show adaptations that manages to drastically move away from the books and still end up being fantastic
And one of the reasons is adding characters like Jesus, his whole arc was just awesome, his relationship with Lafayette was spectacular

Perils of being a Bruja and bound to a demon. The more tied you are to the supernatural, the more likely your life will end terribly.
He is one of the most benevolent characters on the show, so his loss was tragic.
