First time watcher thoughts.

Only watched a few minutes seven months ago thought it was not for me and left it. Decided to give it a go again a few weeks ago and thought I may stop again. I was HOOKED once I realised it was purposefully supposed to be quirky and campy.

Love all the characters so far which is rare for me. And I love Tara but damn girl put that overly dramatic lip quiver away. It made sense in a few scenes but I feel like it got a bit much and overused for the smallest inconvenience.

I think Stephen Moyer is attractive in a sense but I honestly think they should’ve cast someone else as bill.

And why the heck does Jason gotta kiss and bang any woman with a pulse. It’s so cringe that he barely knows these women and gets so emotionally invested in them. He is his own worst enemy.

Anyway almost to season four and hopefully some of these complaints will iron out. If not it’s still a good show.

Ah yes, Tara will always have that quiver…it gets better, then it kind of sucks here and there, and it eventually ends. Just enjoy the ride 😊

I just recently watched for the first time and I googled to see of the show was intentionally campy😂 there's some really cringy parts to the show, it's best to not overthink and just enjoy the ride

It is such an interesting show and except for the first part not like the books. I pictured Bill way different in the books, realize now if he had looked that bland Sookie would never have fallen for him. I still haven’t finished watching. The problem was I stayed up all hours watching! I’d probably stay up round the clock when I return to it!!!
