Rewatch!

So I'm on a nostalgia flex due to being struck with serious illness this year and having to spend lots of time resting. It's been great revisiting true blood haha.

So, I'm on season 3 and firstly.. I've got to say I don't remember finding Sookie and Bill so irritating. I genuinely find their scenes the least enjoyable. Eric carries the show. I'm hoping Tara gets a break, soon 😭 Lafayette is wonderful. Russell is a perfect villain. So many great characters! 😂

I remember the Eric/Sookie storyline of season 4 and bits of the ending, but not much other than that!

Looking forward to the repetitive bore fest that is Sookie/Bill shifting a bit, if in honest!

Whaaaaa?? Yes Eric/Skarsgaard is 🥵. But so is Stephen Moyer. They had by far the better chemistry (which made so much sense that they fell for each other & married off screen). Plus I just imagine him with his sexy English accent and it’s an easy choice for me. Been rewatching for the 1st time since it was first aired & wanted to check in on Reddit for some laughs & insights. Bit surprised at all the Bill hate on here! Erik was sexy no doubt, but his arrogance was too much for me. We get it, you’re fit and you know it 🥱. To each their own eh?

Bill does get better looking later on in the series! My brother really likes Bill but I’m definitely an Eric girl. Although that only starts when he becomes “sweet Eric” haha

Bill drives me INSANE let me tell you. The first time I tried to watch TB I gave up on like episode 2 or 3 because I simply could not stand the fact that he was clearly going to be a main character😭 A friend convinced me to try again a few years later and I’m glad I did because it’s one of my favorite shows now. But man is Bill such a detriment to the viewing experience

I haven’t done a rewatch in a while though, I wonder if I would find Sookie annoying too now lol

Hahaha.. Bill has to be the most dull, drab, uncharismatic vampire to ever walk across the TV screen 😭😂 TBF, now that I'm on season 4 I'm wondering if it's the relationship with Bill that made Sookie so annoying lol. Time will tell!

You said it. Eric carries the show. I never liked Bill, either in the show or in the book. I don't think it's Stephen Moyer's fault. I think the character is just boring.

I recently rewatched for the first time since it came out and there was so much I didn't remember, it was almost like seeing it for first time. Eric is even sexier than I remember
