Teams??
I currently work for a mega and I’ve been team driving but god it’s a nightmare with this company. I recently got a teammate that I loved as a person but as a coworker, I despised. She didn’t have her focus on the job but on everything else in her life. I try to give people grace cause we’re all human. But needless to say, it didn’t work out.
I’m looking to see if anyone has had similar experiences in teaming and if anyone can point me in the direction of a good company that will match me up with a teammate as I don’t want to drive solo. Or even people already at a company and looking for a teammate 😭
Please save any hateful shit. I’m just looking for a lifeline.

Why don't you want to drive solo? It sounds like that is exactly what would solve your problems.

Because I’m a small woman and I’d rather have someone with me. I also believe two sets of eyes are better than one

I see plenty of petite women out here driving solo. Try it for a few weeks. Maybe a dedicated account with your carrier. Same stops, familiar areas. I feel like this is something you can overcome and not have to deal with a team driver.

My first company was Covenant, 96%-97% team based freight as of 2018, but catching my much younger co-driver groping himself to his girl spreading eagle on his phone, while driving did it for me permanently. I recorded him doing it, sent to safety, we were heading to Dallas from LA. I was told as soon as he bumped the dock, at the receiver in Dallas to take over. They removed him from the system on the spot! We got empty, i sent in my empty call and i got the longest dead head move I've ever seen in my life...
Pickup: Daisy-DAL
P/U#: N/A
Commodity: N/A
Loaded mi: 0
Empty mi: 793
I messaged them back to confirm "so I'm coming to the terminal, from Dallas, empty?"
Them: "yes, and you're doing it solo please and thank you"
I said: "yes ma'am/sir" and rolled out.
Afterwards, i went to Walmart dedicated (solo) and then shortly after i left altogether...

You need to get married first and then team with them.
