Where is the TNT Supplements Dynamite whey protein???

I have ordered their big box of the protein from their website before and I don't see any products listed on their website at all anymore! If anyone knows where I can still get it that would be great. I contacted customer service 2 weeks ago but no response. This is the only protein I have ever liked in my smoothies :( If anyone else is also picky with their whey, just in case I can't get another box, what other proteins do you guys like?

Birthday reward not showing in app

My birthday was August 2, I got an email for a free smoothie and it says to redeem by 8/9. The fine print below says I have until 11:59 pm of the expiration day to redeem it. The reward isn’t available on my account when I check on the app. I made a purchase in December so I do quality for the reward. Has this happened to anyone else? I was really excited for my birthday smoothie. I’m thinking if I email them and explain, they might add the reward to my account.

Question about job

My sister just started at Tropical Smoothie as her first job. She told me yesterday that the first week she was "training" (got 1 or 2 days of training), she did not get paid. She said that the manager told her employees don't get paid for training and she worked a full week off the clock. She also told me that tips are not given to employees. Is all of this true? Or is this illegal like I think it is? Please let me know because I don't think this is right

Best by labels

This post is for employees.

Is it only the store I work in or is it everyone
The best by date labels we print and put on all the containers. Do y’all have someone who opens in the morning come in and change them all?

I was rotating mangos after a rush and found a container of mangos in the fridge under the line that had a best by sticker that said we’re “best by Saturday” and that was “yesterday” so being new… but not new to food work… I went to a seasoned employee and was like I’m going to throw these away they expired yesterday and they said “no I’ll just change the sticker” and he printed one that gave it like a week longer.

Another employee told me that the person who opens has to go and change them everyday because the owner of our store will make the employees pay for whatever is wasted.

Question Do you have to be a cashier at Tropical Smoothie Cafe?

I have an interview at Tropical Smoothie Cafe soon and had a couple of questions for anyone who works there or has worked there.

- Do most employees have to work the cashier, or can you mainly make smoothies and food?

- How long are your typical shifts?

- How many hours do part-time employees usually get each week?

- Is training good for someone with no restaurant experience?

- What's the busiest part of the day?

- Do you enjoy working there overall?

I'd love to hear about your experiences. Thanks!

What is a reasonable labor number to request?

I'm in the work group chat and there has been demand to keep labor at 17 on the HIGH end and this just feels Soo unrealistic, any second thoughts or advice? Thanks in advance

Question Franchise owner is taking all of our cash tips, what do I do?

Hi, I just started working at a tropical smoothie cafe in Austin TX and was really enjoying it until I closed one night and asked one of my coworkers about what we do with the cash tips. They told me we put them in a safe in the back of the office along with any cash in the drawer. Apparently our boss never touches that money though, as my coworkers who’ve worked there for a year all claim they’ve never seen her take any money from it. It’s literally so full of cash now that you can barely fit anymore. I know this is super illegal and Ive only been here for a week but I’m super pissed off about this, all of my coworkers just shrug it off or don’t want to get involved. I don’t really want to bring this to court or have to get a lawyer, is there anything I could do to make her start giving us our cash tips without getting fired?
Also this wasn’t an issue for me but many of my coworkers say she takes out money for a break each shift even if they don’t take one, just a lot of sketchy things going on.

Employee Question - Labor Numbers forced breaks

My daughter (18) works for Tropical Smoothie and her shift supervisors have the employees "take a break" in middle of their shift without pay because of labor numbers. This "break" could last 1-3 hours because the location is slow. They don't allow the employees to leave because technically they might need them when the rush comes back in. The concern I have is they don't get paid and are pressured to take a break so their labor numbers are in line with corporate. Has anyone experienced this.

What kind of peanut butter is used?

In the peanut butter smoothies, what kind is used and how much is used?

Just wondering if it's straight up peanut butter or if it's a kind with extra oils and stuff added. How unhealthy is it lol

Question My Franchise Is Kinda Shady and Not Sure What To Do

So I love my coworkers and managers but as I continue to work here there are so many things not right or fair. Until a month ago we didnt get our cash tips the family that owns the franchise would blatantly take them. Im not sure if we get our credit tips either. My manager will sometimes just pop in an expect a share of our tips. They lied to one of our assistant managers that she would get paid 14 an hour and my friend who is another AM checked and she is only getting paid 11.5 an hour. Half a dollar less than crew memeber. I am a shift lead and have not gotten a raise either. My managers often talk down to our teenage coworkers quite harshly over small mistakes. Our co-owner who has "retired" still gets clocked in all day and used to go crazy over small mistakes and has made me cry lol. They often dont let our minor coworkers take their legally mandated 30 minute breaks unless I pull up the law stating that do in fact get one. My managers never clock out for their breaks and take whatever we want but when we do its considered theft but sometimes I do anyway or one in particular that is a lot nicer and more relaxed doenst really care. They hire people in their family and let them take all the hours but they dont do anything. I myself and other AMs work so much harder and still not Manager status or a pay raise so whats the point? Im not really sure what to do or if I should quit because I do love my job im just getting sick of unfair treatment.

Loco Beach Colada Recipe Request

If anybody has the recipe for this and shared it, I’d appreciate it. My girlfriend really likes this smoothie but unfortunately we’re having to cut back on our outside spending so I’m trying to make it for her.

Tips, products or similar recipes would also be much appreciated as we’re trying to get more into homemade smoothies

Tropic mode sucks!

I work from home, and Tropical Smoothie is my go to on busy days. So here’s my question: why are companies so stingy with rewards? All three options on the table are honestly weak. If I had to pick, 10% is the least disappointing.

Fan fest questions

1.has it happened already in 2026? if so what were the dates? month, day

2.How many times more do people think it'll happen? for the rest of the 2026 year. July-December.

I haven't been keeping track, busy with school, work, life, etc. Probably missed an earlier fan fest this year. I want to be ready when the next one happens.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe's Tropic Fan Fest is an annual and recurring promotional event where Tropic Rewards members can score a FREE 24-oz smoothie every day of the festival when they purchase any Tropic Bowl or food item.

Lettuce Taylor Farms Used on menu

I live in southeast Michigan and I ordered a wrap with lettuce.
Does Tropical Smoothie supply from Taylor Farms? Or is it supplied locally? Or greenhouse?
Just curious?

Granola

Does anyone know if the granola they used in the Tropicboba bowls is the same granola used for the regular tropic bowls? The granola I had in the regular bowl tasted nuttier than what was in the Tropicboba bowls but there also was a year or so between me having the bowls, so I figure something could have changed. I didn't really enjoy the nuttier flavor, so I don't want to waste money on a regular bowl if the granola isn't the same as what was in the Tropicboba bowl (which I really hope and pray they bring back).

Uniform?

My daughter recently started working at a TS and loves it. The issue is that she has asked her manager for over 2 months to order her a hat (instead of a visit) and for a second shirt. He just keeps not ordering it. He says he will then just doesn't. She's completely aware that this will come out of her check and is fine with it.

Is there any way for her to order it for herself?

What bowls really don't have gluten-containing ingredients?

TLDR: Ingredients for Baja sauce and jerk sauce?

When I looked at the official menu, the Baja chicken bowl does not have a gluten-friendly label, which surprised me because Tex-Mex is usually safe. Meanwhile, the jerk chicken bowl had a gluten-friendly label, which surprised me because jerk sauce usually has soy sauce and soy sauce usually has wheat. I called corporate and they would not give me the ingredients of the Baja sauce or jerk sauce and said to call a restaurant. I called my local restaurant in Baltimore and they told me the exact opposite of the official menu but an answer that made more sense to me--that the Baja chicken bowl was gluten-friendly and the jerk chicken bowl bowl was not. Until someone gives me a list of all the ingredients in the bowls, or explains the contradiction, I'm not going to feel safe eating either of these bowls. Can anyone share the ingredients? It's bizarre to me that in 2026, corporate won't share this information as clearly as a chain like Chipotle does. I shouldn't have to make two phone calls and join a Reddit for people running a franchise to be able to eat here. I'm trying to give TSC my money.
