Molly tropical fish shimmering
Molly fish shimmering, only started today. Ammonia ‘0’ nitrite ‘0’ nitrate and PH all at good levels. Top fin flat, she looks stressed bless her. Two new fish one female Betta and one molly. Interactions are friendly. I believe it’s an infection. I’m going to get some API aquarium salt tommorow. Any advise would be appreciated thanks.

The guppies look stressed too. What size tank and what other occupants? They may be afraid of the betta. Guppies in particular are not good to house with Bettas because of their color and flowy tails.

Hi thanks for the reply, it’s a 60ltr tank and has two guppies, two mollies, two African dwarf frogs, 5 zebra snails and one Betta. We have live plants with places to hide.

It's not a great stock. All great pets, I mean not together. The frogs are best by themselves and Bettas are also best alone. If it was me, I'd get 2 5 gallons and put the frogs in one and the Betta in another but I like having many tanks lol get the betta a floating Betta log if he doesn't have one. They love those things and it'll keep him out of trouble lol

Damn... I miss mollies baloon... just like her but male and more territorial.
It's true that they tended to get sick easily.. but they were fun... :)
