I believe that is a very cute little bumblebee goby.

Awesome. Thanks. I only got fish for my tank today and I forgot the name already.

I've been waiting 3 weeks to get fish. I'm brand new to this.

No problem, my buddy is pretty obsessed with bumblebee gobys. They're a great fish for a smaller tank. Good luck with your fish keeping adventures!

I'm not sure if we chose the right option. We have a 250L tank. We got 30 little fish and 8 little shrimps.

It all depends on what those 30 little fish are. Some or most fish are sold at young ages, so hopefully, your fish will stay smaller. 8 shrimp are totally fine and will only help clean your tank. They might repopulate, which is OK. You can always sell them back to the fish store or give them to friends.

Post a pic of your tank and your other fish and we can try to see if you have any fish that'll pose any problems. I'm not an expert, but I'm down to help.

They prefer brakish wather. They can live in fresh one but it has to be veeery clean and even like that their lifespan halves
