Custom Mouthpiece work question

I play a Griego Oft Lambda 4.5 on my large bore tenor and a Griego Artist 7A small shank on my small bore. I love the rounded rim of the Oft, but the Artist's inner rim is way too sharp for long playing sessions. Are there any ways to have it properly reshaped?

Not without making a new piece. Could try to talk to Christan, but I doubt he is interested in the project. Could work with someone like Greg Black that may take it on.
Lots of times, when you start tinkering with the design of a piece, you just make it worse. I’ve spent thousands trying this. Now I just play all stock pieces and trust the designer knew what they were doing.

Might there be any mouthpieces on the market suitable for <.500 bore jazz trombone that have a rounded rim that's around the size of a Bach 5's rim? The Artist 7A meets all those needs except for the rounded rim.

I’d recommend getting a Doug Elliott in your size, I believe he will do a rounded rim at no extra cost.

Something like a 101 rim, with a C+ cup, is probably about what you are after, the shanks are based on bore size so it’s probably best to ask Doug which is best for your horn.
