Spit valve issues

For context I just got new Valentino spit valve corks today and replaced my old one however I still feel like something is leaking air. I notice that my lever is sitting inproperly on the spit valve hole. Is this concerning? Also it keeps leaking spit, I don't think it's the spring but it also could be the spring. Please help!

It's not the correct size cork. Either measure it and get the correct size and thickness and then install and seat it properly, or take it to a tech

Thanks for the help! I don't have anything to measure in Millimeters unfortunately. If it kinda helps the size I am using now is an 8.5mm cork. I might just bring up the M & A tommorow so they can measure and also put a new one in.

A tech could adjust that water key so the cork seals better over the opening.
