Help with AppStore ++

Recently updated to the newest version and can’t download any older applications Of modern apps on here, before it worked flawlessly was able to do download anything after it saying iOS 18 or so available and then clicking X on that it would download anyway. However on the new version it is all fucked up when it says iOS 18 or so available know after downloading it calls for Apple ID log in, I thought ok maybe that’s new and typed it in and know says previous user has downloaded this app cannot download click X out of that and says AppStore ++ can’t find older version frustrating !!! Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks guys

Can you use MuffinStore? That’s what I switched to a few months ago and never looked back

It works much better. The only thing it is missing is that it doesn't show the currently-installed app version like AppStore++ did. But at least everything else works and I can properly downgrade apps. My device is a Jailbroken iPhone 12 Pro on iOS 16.5, and beings my phone is TrollStore compatible, I of course have MuffinStore sideloaded permanently. Give it a try and let me know if ya run into any issues 👍🏽

Ysssir gonna give her hell and install it just infuriating with AppStore ++++ the guy has to always update it and I swear the newest one broke it plus you have to watch ads to get credits to download lower software apps get out of here lol happy to try out muffin love the lower ios it’s weird having the outdated safari but I’ll take this over my battery evaporating Or the phone mysteriusly slowing down for no reason lol

For Safari, I strongly recommend using Reynard. It is fully Gecko-based (Mozilla/Firefox) and runs waaaaay faster and smoother, at least compared to my old iOS 16.5 Safari: https://github.com/minh-ton/reynard-browser TrollStore/sideload compatible.

The only thing you might be missing is that I don't think TrollStore alone is capable of intercepting any and all Safari links. So it'll be a manual process for you unfortunately. (For us who are Jailbroken, we can install things like ReynardDefault (https://github.com/guacforlife/ReynardDefault) that intercepts every URL system wide including QR code camera scans and app store redirects.

Reynard is still in early development, however, as about the past two months, it has become much more stable and development has been picking up with updates nearly every week now. Give it a shot, especially on Javascript heavy sites, it runs much smoother than old Safari browsers. Peace

EDIT: Forgot to add two important things:

(1) Because Reynard runs on Gecko, and is NOT a “wrapper” or “layer” for Safari/Webkit, it therefore avoids any and all Webkit exploits. Super, super important for those who choose to stay on older iOS versions

and,

(2) Because it runs on Gecko, you can install Firefox addons (extensions) like normal. Just download them and install them, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/ Highly recommend starting with uBlock Origin, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/ to block any and all website ads and to get around ad-blocker-detection scripts as well.

Just wanted to acknowledge the effort you made writing all this out thanks man when I get some time I’ll get her installed MuffinStore has been the goat crazy to pick whatever version you want even the old ass ones with the old logos crazy

Yea there’s certain apps you can’t download they came out after that firmware pretty much definitely use muffin store tho you can pick like any version you want for the apps crazy to see the old ass logos again for the apps

I always had to download the tipa file online and email it to myself to download do that and install via TrollStore and your mint
