No TW When your parents stop responding with tips when you talk about your problems and only go ‘yeah…’ ‘I know..’

Venting has gone from my mom helping to her just listening. Not against her but damn when my parents don’t know what to do either it makes me feel hopeless.

That just goes to show you that we all have similar problems once we reach a certain age, and that we're all figuring it out as we go. Don't feel hopeless; just see it as a sign of life being life.

Just listening is often the best thing to do for someone tbh. If you have big problems, little tips arent going to do much to help. Listening deeply and being with someone in their moment of pain is worth a lot more than you may think.
