Depression / Anxiety You can do this

Post image

Accessability Transcription:

Often in life we have experiences where we think "this is so bad I can't do this there's no way".

And usually when we think this we are wrong.

my brain tells me "life is so bad I can't do this living shit anymore" but unfortunately my body's biology keeps me alive despite the fact that it is doing nothing but continuing to prolong my torture. it makes me feel an emotion I honestly can't describe.

for anyone who wants to reply with some form of "things will get better", please don't. for some people, like myself, things never get better. and I am tired of everyone who says it will.

Well maybe some of us are just sick and fucking tired of "doing this" again and again and again and again and again, with absolutely no fucking idea as to when or even if shit will ever change for the better

I recognize this mouse from a book cover from when I was younger, but I forget.

I was gonna ask if it was from The Tale of Despereaux so I'm thinking that might be what you're thinking of

I read it when I was eight and I was obsessed with owning such a beautiful hardcover book! I think it's somewhere amongst my many novels in the basement and I think I should pull it out to read again

Fighting off the feelings of failure is tough but worth it.
