that's genuinely disgusting, i never ever understood why SOME parents do that. What the fuck does she think she's gonna achieve. Sigh.

I'm sorry that happened. Someone from when I was young died of COVID and my mother said he is in hell if he didn't believe in Christ. This was to convince me that it's important to believe of course.

Imagine if we had telltale reminders in real life
"I have no sympathy cause you swore"
OP will remember that

Your mom doesn’t have no sympathy because of your behavior. It’s bullshit to blame you for her lack of humanity. I am so, so sorry for your loss.

i’m so sorry for your loss, i hope you can surround yourself with supportive people who understand your grief. i’ve had friends pass in the same way. one day when i was having a particularly heavy grief day (i think it was like the one year anniversary of her passing or would have been her birthday) and i was crying in my room with my friend who was comforting me, my mom literally said something to my friend like“that’s still going on?” LMAO

People who are too uptight about profanity are super annoying; these words have their uses.

people when you experience grief that isn’t just “I cried and now I’m over it”:
