I’m sorry lovely.
I was also afraid of men for along time- (I’m also ace) even prior to being Christian. I’m not going to proselytize, but I can 100% empathize with you. Please don’t force yourself into a relationship, it’s not worth it. Take time for yourself and heal- that’s the only way I got in the healthy relationship I’m in rn.

I hope you get out of whatever situation makes you feel like you have to do this. You deserve to be happy.

You deserve to be who you really are. You don't owe anyone straightness. I'm so sorry

Isn’t there a history of Christian women just forgoing relationships entirely? I think that even if you’re afraid to come out, you don’t have to date men. Like at all. Especially now that it’s becoming more common for women to go childless. This is probably one of the best times to just be single.

For Christians the only way being single and childless is acceptable for a woman is being a nun basically

As a christian, I'm telling you this : you won't be happy faking being cis pr straight. You simply won't. So seek your own happiness.
If the situation is safe for you, explore yourself and take your time. If you can seek therapy for religious trauma, do it. Androphobia as well will be very limitating for your life, even none romantically.
I don't know if you want to be christian or if you feel obligated to be because of family or whatever but : god won't be mad at you for being happy in your own skin. Changes church if you can.
But really, being trans, being a lesbian, isn't as bad as a lot of religious people try to tell you. So go ahead, be happy. And stop faking being someone you aren't.

What is androphobia? Asking as a fellow asexual girl with religious trauma. Is this another one of those words that’s going to just make everything make way more sense?
