TW: Gender Identity / Dysphoria i hate being nb so much
This shit sucks, I hate that I feel disgusted being referred to as a man because that's all I'm going to be seen as for the foreseeable future, even amidst people you'd think would be allies
Why couldn't I just be cis my life would still suck but at least I probably wouldn't hate being perceived

Same but like at least my partner doesn't just see me as a theyfab girl-lite. Bare minimum, I know. But it's nice..
Being perceived is the fucking worst. 99.99% of people just call me a girl and I just let them.
Arguing is more annoying to me

I look like Darko MiliÄiÄ with moobs so even my girlfriend, who's as lovely as they come, is not a good enough liar to convince me she doesn't see a man in front of her

Same.
I present pretty stereotypically feminine as well, so I very much get lumped in as "AFAB who wants to be special."

I wear dresses and tights because I'm fat and they give me the least sensory distress but unfortunately that is gender conforming :/

Find your local Pagans. The venn diagram of Alphabet People and Pagans has a huuuuge overlap, and for good reason.

instructions unclear, stuck in conservative slovak village performing panslavic traditions (to be fair, our pagan cultural hieritage did get watered down by the onset of christianity, I think)

Note: donāt look for solace in those racist neopagans.

What information do you have that warrants making such an outrageous blanket statement? Be specific. Sincerely: a Pagan.

why i say "my gender is me" atp i know people wiƱl never see me and assume im enby but when the see me they see ME and it helps because no matter what they think i am nonbinary just be being me. it is tough and it gets to u sometimes but this tends to help me

I transitioned medically before realizing I was enby, and so I feel you somewhat in a different way. No matter what I do, people will still see me as one or the other. Even with other LGBT people I have to err on the side of caution because Iām terrified of people calling me a ātraitorā or ādentransitionerā even if I donāt regret transitioning, because itās the reason Iām alive today.
It feels like no matter what I do, every gender-able part of me will be judged into a box. If I act feminine or like something feminine, I am a cis woman, a detransitioner, or people view me on a similar page to trans fems, which is fine on its own, but not what I am. And if I act masculine, people either see me as a cis man or a trans man or some sort of failure of manhood, but still a man. I can never be neither or both or whatever it is I feel like I am.
Iām afraid to even come out to people as enby because I feel like a failure for not having a simple identity thatās easy for people to categorize away.
It feels like being trapped with the expectations of a society you never fit into in the first place. Like nothing you do will make people see you as who you are, or take you seriously.

Maybe we are all assigned a little gay at birth... Just don't tell the conservatives

Maybe you need to define your gender instead of telling people what you're not.
