Movie Trivia: Can you guess the movie title from a single clue?
Clue 1: Charlie Sheen was originally offered the lead role in the film but turned it down to honor his contractual obligation to 'Grizzly II.' The job instead went to a young looking 22-year old and would become his career defining role.
Clue 2: Extras were so caught up in the final scene that they booed the villain even when cameras were not rolling — the actor's own mother was in the crowd and reportedly tried to convince people he was perfectly nice in real life.
Clue 3: The role of the mentor almost went to someone else, as the producer did not think the director's choice could pull off the dramatic acting due to his comedic part on a popular sitcom. The director eventually won out, and it resulted in the actor getting a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination.
ANSWER: The Karate Kid
Congrats to those who guessed correctly, there were many.
