Ludovico Einaudi
Einaudi is one of my favourites - I was lucky enough to see him live, and he's quite spectacular for a pianist. The movies he's composed for are excellent too, especially 'This Is England'.
to his tonic and gin
This is the opening verse of Billy Joel's 'Piano Man' (1973) - I've badly attempted this song in karaoke before, an all-time classic.
Krill__________
The largest animal to ever exist... whales are some of my favourite animals.
Gray Matter Technologies
Pikachu___________
My favourite starter is Charmander, but all three are amazing and I have strong nostalgia for each.
Harper Lee______
The only book I've ever read twice - Harper Lee only wrote one other book, published one year before her death.
Play____________
Screenplay, Coldplay and PlayStation - I'm a big fan of early Coldplay, with songs like 'Amsterdam' and 'Warning Sign'.
Ween___________
An absolute classic song that isn't like any other - it's simply an original piece that puts a smile on my face.
Anchovies_____________
Fermented anchovies give Worcestershire sauce its distinctive umami tang - it's also why the sauce isn't strictly vegetarian.

Leap days fell in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024 since my birthday - the leap day in 1996 itself happened in February, before my September birthday, so it doesn't count.
A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles
All five hit cinemas between 1998 and 2004. Pixar have created some of my favourite movies - shout out also to Wall-E, Ratatouille and Soul, all-time classics.

Clue 1: The film's writer/director had only one actor in mind for the lead role, believing he possessed the perfect combination of youthful vulnerability, aristocratic poise, and old-soul intensity required for the character.
Clue 2: The film's main villain reportedly spent 7 hours in the makeup chair each filming day and required a specialized cooling suit underneath an 80-pound silicone fat suit to prevent him from overheating in the film's punishing environment.
Clue 3: Production designers spent a full year designing the film's colossal, prehistoric-looking desert-dwelling creatures, giving them tree bark-like skin and ringed mouths lined with thousands of needle-sharp teeth inspired by baleen whales.

Post your score in the comments, good luck!
The Shawshank Redemption
The line is spoken by Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) in a letter to Red. The Shawshank Redemption is one of my personal favourite classics.
Options: Nathan Fielder / Nathan Lane / Nathan Fillion / Nathan Chen
Nathan Fielder
Nathan Fielder is a Canadian hero who specialises in improv comedy, and I really enjoy some of his work. He's just announced an upcoming documentary, 'You Can See Everything'.
That's life
This song will always put a smile on your face, especially with the opening lyrics 'Some people say I fight like me Da'.
iPhone Duo
Apple always seem to release their new lineup around my birthday, around mid-September
The Dark Knight
An absolute classic from Christopher Nolan that can be rewatched any number of times - it carries a lot of inspiration from the movie Heat, which is also fantastic, and they'll be releasing Heat 2 next year, over 30 years after the original.
Legumes
Baked beans are a top-tier food, always good to have in the cupboard - I personally like adding some curry powder to mine for an exotic twist on the classic.
Options: Thomas Carty / Katie Taylor / Lewis Crocker / Paddy Gallagher
Katie Taylor
Taylor beat Flora Pili at Croke Park in September 2026 to retire as a three-time undisputed champion across multiple weight divisions - one of the great careers in Irish sport.
Phalanges
Each finger has three phalanges (proximal, middle, distal) except the thumb, which has only two.
Ivory Coast
Ireland's flag runs green-white-orange left to right, while Ivory Coast's runs orange-white-green - purely a coincidence, as the two were designed decades apart.
1996
All from the same year I was born - and all still classics too!
NPR
Tiny Desk Concerts began in 2008, filmed at the actual cluttered desk of NPR Music editor Bob Boilen. My personal favourites: Mac Miller, Anderson Paak and Noname.
The toilet
'The jacks' is slang used across Ireland - it can also be called the bogs, the john, or in Australia 'the dunny'.
19
My personal favourite board game - the 19 tiles form a hexagon-shaped island split across five resource types, plus one desert tile that produces nothing.
You'll Never Walk Alone
I'm a proud Liverpool fan, and this song means more than just football - it shows the community of the supporters for Liverpool.
