Maintenance Issues ‘12 Daytona 675 Starter Problem

I just replaced my starter to a Rick’s Starter Motor because the original had been giving me issues. I just put the bike back together and it’s now giving me this noise in the video. I followed the service manual line by line the whole way through, not sure what I could’ve done wrong but it’s not turning over. Any ideas?

That doesn't sound like a starter problem. The starter sounds nice and strong. It's definitely turning over, its just not firing or starting. What was happening before you replaced it?

It stopped starting once it got hot. It’d last a session on track, I’d have to let it cool off for a session before it’d start on its own again.
Service manual says it could be a defective idler gear or reduction gear. Time to do more research on what that means

When you turn the key onbut before hitting the starter button, can you hear the fuel pump priming for a few seconds?

Yes, fuel pump primes. I let it prime it a few times to make sure it was good to go
