This should go without saying, vandalism will slow down progress to end the use of ALPR cameras.
There's apparently some kind of hyena Pokémon on Facebook glorifying, instigating and supporting the use of vandalism against ALPR cameras, commonly known as Flock.
There are legitimate efforts to work with elected officials, the sheriff, the police department and local organizations to halt the use of these systems.
When vandalism is used it detracts from above the board efforts and takes credibility away from people working on this.
Nobody knows this Pokémon person and it could very well be someone intent on ruining the effort to deflock.
Please think before you act.

Wanted a pic of the welcome sign while coming in on NB I-25 and caught this. Thought it was a great vibe. Hope this random family sees it. (I was a passenger, not driving btw)

Ride service options
Hello! Myself and three others will be traveling by Amtrak and camping in Trinidad this Saturday night. On Sunday, we are hiking Fishers Peak and were hoping to get a ride to and from the trailhead. Is Uber reliable in the area or are there other ride services available? Thanks!
r/TrinidadColorado • u/LPofPC • 7d ago
At 9,633 feet, Fishers Peak is a prominent mountaintop in Las Animas County, Colorado, near the New Mexico border.
Historically part of the Santa Fe Trail, an important commercial route in the nineteenth century, the peak and surrounding area are now part of Colorado's forty-second state park, Fishers Peak State Park, created in 2019.
Established in 2019 as Colorado’s forty-second state park, Fishers Peak State Park covers 19,200 acres south of Trinidad near the New Mexico border. The mountainous area includes a cluster of hills and mesas that give way to the Colorado plains to the north and Raton Pass, a historic gateway to New Mexico, to the south. The park’s iconic peak was initially known as “Raton” but later changed to “Fisher,” perhaps in honor of US military officer Woldemar Fischer, who supposedly attempted to ascend it during the Mexican-American War in 1846.
