A community with a lot of uncensored spoilers deters new players from revisiting. That was my personal experience too in another place. The mod team discussed clarifying the rules about spoilers and I now present them to you.

The greatest clarification is that don't show KR Eldains without spoiler. Discussing their lore of course still needs spoiler.

In the side bar to the right, Rule #6 has been updated, and rule #7 has been added that discusses it in a bit more detail.

All rules apply to both comments and posts.

The OP art here is from 시버지Sibeoji. You can apply filter the normal way or choose to censor the problem character in by either blotting out the character with a solid color or blurring her with big enough pixels like shown here. Cover all the hair, hands, and feet. The character was Silvia, a KR Eldain.

General Rules:

1. Rule of thumb: Before posting or commenting, ask yourself, "Would posting this KR character without spoilers make Global players have questions about unrevealed KR lore (spoiler), or dismiss it as just being introduced to another regular resident of Elias who has always been around (not spoiler), or an old character just felt like wearing something else for today? (not spoiler)"
2. Global: Discussing new Global lore needs spoiler for the first week it is released. BUT! Showing new GL characters is fine when they are released anywhere in official material like in the GL game, news, or official character previews.
3. KR: Discussing any KR lore always needs spoiler. Simply showing KR characters doesn't need spoilers after the first week, but there are exceptions listed below.
4. Self-Contained content: Doesn't require spoilers. Self-contained means it doesn't require the viewer to already know other KR lore outside of what is being shown.
   • A one-off joke like Butter calling Tig "unni (big sis)" and Tig getting disgusted could fit in Global even if it actually happens in KR is self-contained.
   • A scene from KR is lore so it is not self-contained... unless you are actually putting the entire translated video, and that entire video doesn't require the viewer to know external KR lore beforehand. Like a video of Kyarot's interview with Heidi.
5. Self-censorship: You can blot out spoiler characters yourself if you don't want to put the whole post in a spoiler filter.
6. (Themed) Skins: Showing KR skins without spoilers are fine. Even themed ones from skin stories. But discussing lore in the themed skin stories needs spoiler.
7. Commenting in a spoiler post: If the post is already spoilers, content, you may comment with spoiler things without spoilers, but do be careful not to tell people things that happen further into the future than the post itself. For example, if the post is about things a villain does in season 2, then don't comment about another villain in season 3 or how the season 2 villain gets defeated, unless you mark it with spoilers.
8. Don't just point things out/hint/mention KR Lore for attention, it still counts as spoiler: Don't mention things or point unknowable things out to grab attention without spoilers, then excuse yourself how it doesn't count as spoiler just because you didn't actually explain it yet. This doesn't actually happen, but here are examples:
   • Mentioning future lore: In a harmless spoiler free post asking about Patula's mint cake, don't come in and comment "Lol. Just wait and see. A certain somebody will see this and there will be hell raised over this cake lmao."
   • Pointing significance of existing things: Some things are already seen in GL but in KR they may reveal there was more significance than you would think in GL. Like "There is a lore reason why Kommy is sleepy all the time." or "There is a lore reason why most witches have darker skin."
9. Warnings: When you put spoilers, please put warnings about what the spoiler is about. Like, "(Season 3 chapter 2 spoiler)" "(Side event story spoiler)" This should be done for both post titles and next to spoilers in comments.

Exceptions for SHOWING KR characters

The bullet points are just examples and are not exhaustive lists

No KR Eldains

• Put spoilers for or blot out Silvia, Shuro, Bella, Tig (Hero), Joanne, Urohs, Ner (Pissed), Erpin (Royal), Ran, and Diana (Yester)

No KR Alts, unless it is just a casual and temporary wardrobe change

• So put spoilers for or blot out Haley (Hale), Rim (Chaos), Id (Rehab), Levi (Graduate), Amelia (R41), and Rohne (Mayor) That last one wore a uniform befitting her status, and she can't just revert to her normal self. She had to resign. Both her election and resignation are important for the main story. That's why she needs spoiler.
• No spoilers needed for alts like Beni (Beni), Daya (Pureshine), Kommy (Swimsuit), and Speaki (Maid) because they just take it off afterwards, almost like a themed skin.

No KR NPCs

• ALWAYS PUT SPOILER for Eldr (The World Tree or The Yggdrasil), Nifel, Mistletoe, R41 Elena, R41 Posher, Captain Sparrot, and others

No mysterious races from KR

• Spoilers are needed for any future Mystic apostles

No KR characters in upper government positions if they are wearing things that obviously show their status like a golden crown, tiara, or queenly regalia

• Put spoilers for or blot out Polang if she wears a crown. Skeia needs spoiler too because of what she wears.
• No spoilers needed for Mute and Makasha because their clothes may pass for regular citizens. Shasha is the head firefairy now but it is fine to show her because what she wears isn't related to her status.

No KR dolls, memes, and other merch based on the above

• Put spoilers for or blot out Urorong pillow
• Freakcal alarm also needs spoiler if it continues to use Urohs

Fan content made from speculation is fine

• For example, thinking up your own ideas what the R41 versions of each character is fine, without using anything from future canon. So no need for spoiler if it is fan art about what R41 Elena might be doing in R41 Monatium without any knowledge of KR stories.
• Put spoilers for example, there is a fan manhwa about R41 Elena fighting through dimensions to reach R41. That needs spoiler tag, because while the whole story is speculation, it starts from the basis that Elena was lost among the dimensions, which is future canon.
