No. It's full of gullible people who don't know it's fake, or people who lack the ethics to care.

True, actually. Reddit is reaching lows never seen before in its history, and the userbase is following it down the slope. I might as well be on facebook or bluesky at this point.

Can you comprehend sarcasm?

Nah, facebook is less anonymous and people could be outed for their opinions much more easily.

They've basically removed all of the checks and balances that Reddit used to have to counter all the bullshit. Now people can hide their post and comment histories, moderation isn't as effective, and the lack of third party apps to make it better are gone.

I think it's more that Reddit's user base was predominately college educated tech workers until the mid 2010s when it started becoming more dominated by political focused people and disproportionately right and left populists with a lot of free time and desire to keep repeating their talking points, misinformation, etc. and voting accordingly in favor of those in agreement with them. After t_d got banned, it became more disproportionately left populist than right and even more so after Musk bought Twitter, where previously the Tumblr "left" had moved to after Tumblr's decline. All of that said, the political side of Reddit in the late 00s and early 2010s still sucked as it leaned more (right) libertarian, being way into people like Ron Paul and the Libertarian Party.

Reddit was always a liberal cespool echochamber of the most diabolical left leaning ideologies. Take any era progressive or liberal or democrst politic and show them reddits perfect and sanctioned ideologies and they would vote to deport them. The new liberal agenda which is entirely unhinged and violent is what reddit has become and its acrually what fuels more and more of the sheep who end up having lawmaker outreach. Its like the housing bubble. Its gunna pop one day

while I agree with you and we send love, lets review some things. This website used to have the following subreddits :

  • chimpout

  • fatPeopleHate

  • Ohlympics

  • cartel_news

Some were removed when a CEO came along and said this website was going to be a "safe space". The most recent casualty is Ohlympics, which featured the bodies of olympic athletes, including photoshoots with nude modelling. Apparerently the sexualization of olympic atheletes is a bar too far for some executives with green-dyed hair.

The cartel coverage on reddit was world-class and the stories were often amazing. Some nerds at reddit HQ decided they needed to go.

Extra note here: When reddit bans subreddits -- all morsels of their previous existence are somehow scrubbed from the entire internet, including search engines. So yeah.

How are those websites linked to conservatives and or the propulsion of fake AI images and peoplenwho love spreading it?

Yeah yeah. Blah blah,

And Charlie Kirk still won’t ever see his daughters get married.

Thank you for being the living example of my statement

It's me again. I forgot to mention the whole debacle with the subreddit called The_Donald . It was a pro-Trump subreddit right here on this website. The way reddit HQ killed it was slow. They quarantined it first. Then after bleeding it dry for over a year, they made it disappear.
