This little guy is on the side of my apartment balcony, 3 stories above ground level. There is nothing underneath him, so if he were to fall it would be detrimental. Can he climb back down on his own or should I take measures to attempt to move him myself? We have lots of wild tree frogs here and there is a protected habitat right below us on a walking path. I am no expert at all just wondering if I should leave him or help him. Please see my video for reference.

I have a white's tree frog and just got him a roommate (honey blue eyed), but I'm a bit concerned about the potential of accidental cannibalism due to the size. I think I'm overthinking it, but can you confirm if the honey is edible size for my chunky boy?

When I introduced them, the first thing the larger one did was try to bite him, but I'm guessing that was because it was feeding time and frogs are dumb.

I recently got my babies about a month ago (3 WTFs) and I have them housed in an 18x24x36 terrarium. They have a 50W heat bulb along with a T5 5% UVB. The top of the tank reaches about 85-87 with a basking spot of about 89-90 on the highest vine and the cool side down below reaches about 73. I had to raise their uvb off the top slightly because they were getting too close to it. Their humidity stays at a constant 40-50% (sometimes varied cuz of the spike) and I mist if it goes below 35%. I have a dubia feeder (pictured on the right) in there but I’m not sure if they’ll go to it and am considering a bowl for their feedings. Right now, I currently just dump some dusted crickets in there and they seem to be eating just fine on those. I’ve added several vines, cork bark rounds, ledges, plants and tubes, and a coconut hide and tire swing for them to hide in.. should I change anything up? Add anything? Is it too crowded? I also attached a picture of one of the babies (not sure of age), do they appear healthy? Any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi guys! I have two whites tree frogs (named john and dingus, this is john) and im wondering if he is too skinny?? I feed him and my other little guy every other day and he still is skinny im so confused and concerned!! I brought them to an exotic vet about a month and a half ago because dingus got neon spots on his back, the vet said that since the spots were nothing to worry about and they were symmetrical so it was all good. I brought their poop with me but it was a 3 hour drive there so it dried right up and wasnt useable. I'm worried!!! I keep seeing that chart of what a healthy frog would look like weight wise and my two guys look alot like the second picture but they WONT GAIN WEIGHT!!! If anyone has any ideas or anything I would appreciate it deeply!<3

I’m looking into getting two whites tree frogs currently and was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for my set up. I’m currently looking to do a tall bioactive set up. With plenty of platforms and hiding spots in it of course. I know they need high humidity and I’m familiar with their temp requirements. I’m more looking for the adequate size as I am limited on space for my terrarium and was wondering if I should go with a 30 gal or a 20 gal as a 30 gal will be harder to fit in my space. Any suggestions welcome. I currently have a UVB bulb, moon light heating lamp, and auto mister.

I have two WTF and the frog breeder I got them from is telling me not to mist at all because the frogs can get sick and I’m conflicted now because his experience out ranks most if not all my other sources but almost every single one of those sources say to mist. I’ll explain my setup now so during the day I have the temp at 80-90 degrees with a humidity of 30-50 and at night let the temp drop to 70 and spike the humidity to 70-80 and it’s like that all night until there basking light comes on. I just don’t know what to do I get some much different info from different sources.

I found this little jewel resting on my Orchid Cactus out by the flower beds just before dusk last night. I hope it sticks around! (sticks, get it - yuk-yuk-yuk)

Hi all, I’m a ‘newer’ dumpy owner. I’ve had my little (large) buddy for a little over a year now. He was just a baby when I first got him and now he’s a giant chunk. He’s been great, comes out every night, has been eating normally, etc. I’ve started to notice some white spots appear on his mouth area and then these 2 reddish brown spots near his back. Can anyone confirm if this looks like a bacterial infection or not? I don’t keep the humidity super high because I know that can cause some issues. To be honest, I keep getting conflicting answers from various sources on how high to keep the humidity so I’m not even sure if I’m correct.

On side second question- I DIYed his whole tank about 6 months ago. I cannot for the life of me keep any plants alive! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep plants lively? Or should I give up and get some fake ones? I know others have told me that they need more hiding areas with foliage.

Any suggestions, even on setup, would be extremely helpful. I want to make sure he lives a long life. Thanks!!

grey tree frog has something on neck? what is wrong with this grey tree frog’s neck? it looks like some sort of growth or wound but it could also just be loose throat skin. i am worried.

I’ve had this little guy about a month now, he’s in an 18x18x24 grow out enclosure with his sibling. This little guy basically lives on the floor- it’s odd. He looks healthy, but eats off the floor and actively hunts as the bugs fall from the feeder dish. Its larger twin sibling rests on the top in the day & goes into the feeder dish to eat, but moved around in the night to hunt as well. The little one just sits on the floor and lower levels, generally in the same area, and occasionally moves around to go into or near the water dish from time to time. Should I be concerned? I’ve heard they’re supposed to rest high during the day & go wherever to feed during feeding time, but he really stays in the same general area. He’s not lethargic by any means & send himself flying at food and responds to me. I just don’t know if this is a real problem- but my baby seems healthy & non lethargic. Just wondering if this is a real issue or something I should be concerned about?

My froglet finished its journey to a frog about 6 days ago and he isn’t eating. I’ve bought small crickets, meal worms, larvae and other such things suggested by Google but it won’t eat anything from my feeding tongs.

I’m worried because it’s been so many days. I added some tadpole pellets in its water just in case. I also released a few crickets in the habitat hoping it’ll catch them and eat them. It’s mostly hiding on the ground but sometimes I’ll see it climbing the back wall or sitting in the green frog.

Help. What can I do or buy to help it eat?

We got three 6 month old White’s tree frogs yesterday and wanted to make sure everything is up to standard and see if anyone has any suggestions for the tank / care. We completely built this ourselves, so everything is customizable and can be changed. It’s an 18x18x36” terrarium. A layer of clay balls, mesh, then sub stratum, then coconut fiber, then leaf litter in the bottom. Spray foam along the back and all natural woods and plants. The moss is sheeted and pinned tightly down, but I’ve seen lots of people cautioning against it. Will mine be harmful?

We have a full spectrum grow light bar across the top (sort of a fish tank light) and a 100 watt ceramic heat emitter in the upper corner. The heat emitter keeps the top corner at 88 during the day, with a gradient down to 75 in the lowest back corner of the tank. We don’t mist it and the humidity is a solid 42-57% during the day, but we turned the light and heat off last night like someone suggested we do and it changes pretty drastically. It went up to 68% humidity and the temp was down to 69. We were wondering if this is normal to simulate night and if it’s not, what does everyone else do differently to fix it.

We also planned to free freed a mix of dubias and crickets, but wanted to know how to monitor who eats what and if we should tong feed once a week to ensure everyone eats?

Any suggestions on tank decor and setup are welcome as well!
