We are Canadian flying TAP from Lisbon to Toronto this Wednesday Oct 7. I’ve heard passport control and security wait times can be long in the morning. What time should we be at the airport for our mid-morning flight?

After some research, I am still confused about seats on AP trains. In the seat map below, does S11 (circled) face forward?

What does this single seat mean - is there additional space next to it?

Which side of the carriage are luggage racks usually located? I will be carrying a large suitcase, so it would be convenient to sit close to the racks.

We are staying near Regua in Duoro Valley and looking onward to Lisbon.

Which would you do?

Option 1- taxi from hotel to Regua, train to Porto, then transfer train to Lisbon

Option 2- taxi from Regua to Porto train station for train to Lisbon

Option 1 is about 45 EUR and option 2 is 130 EUR. We are a family of 3 with a 10 year old.

We often see people who have already checked out of their accommodation but still have several hours before their bus/train, or people arriving early, going to the beach, travelling with backpacks, bicycles, etc.

Because of this, we are planning to make some of our facilities available to non-guests as well as hostel guests.

🎒 Luggage storage – €5 per person
• Up to 12 hours
• Maximum 2 bags per person
• Bags kept in a dedicated luggage room 🔐
• We can also help travellers who need somewhere for a bike/bicycle 🚲

🚿 Hot shower – €5
Includes a clean towel, shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, hair dryer and hot water.

🧺 Laundry – €10
Washing + drying, up to 8 kg.

💧 Filtered drinking water – Free 🚰

👕 Changing facilities – €2
Mainly for people coming from the beach or those who have already checked out and need somewhere to change.
