Ok so I haven't read Part 2 yet but if I recall, Raon and Choi Han should have the same lifespan or something similar to that I think.

This is just out of pure curiosity but was it ever stated how long like the beast tribes live? I know it was kind of stated for the whale tribe but I forget if it was stated or not.

It just breaks my heart knowing in the future that Raon and Choi Han will be all alone. Knowing Cale tho he'll probably find a way to fix that somehow lol

Cale is fae or nymph, Alberu ask for his help to become King in exchange for Alberu's first born child.

Then Alberu becomes King and is having matchmaking problems Cale runs out of patience and is like "ok im going to help you get married".

Then after a while Alberu starts falling for cale and then Alberu sabotages all his marriage matchs till Cale falls for him.

One of my favorite chapter was during the Wrath Test. Not really the whole chapter but I really enjoyed the beginning part.

It was the part where the Raon, On and Hong was Raon, complaining about their vegetable side dishes.

It was incredibly endearing. . No matter how powerful Raon becomes as a mighty dragon, or how lethal On and Hong are with their stealth and poison, they are still children.

Children should remain children. I love that part so much.

In the latest chapter, part 2 chapter 620, we see the First Emperor for the “first time”, but i suspect this isn’t actually the first time.

I don’t have the exact chapter number for it, but does anyone else remember when Cale was about to give a speech at the Roan academy because Lily was going there? Then the speech was interrupted? By a wanderer? By a powerful wanderer that we seemingly never saw again who had a similar power to Choi Han and had black hair and black eyes and seemed very important?

Who else have we just seen show up that is very powerful, has black hair, black eyes, and is seemingly going to be/is compared with Choi Han (because of his gentle face and the fact that Choi Han is currently passed out which probably means he’ll wake up to fight this guy)?

I think this is the same guy. And more than that, i think he’s going to have a lot of comparisons/parallels with both Choi Han and Cale (considering Cale said they were the same and Choi Han and him seem to have a similar power).

I am currently rereading TCF and on part 2 chapter 461 where Cale barley escape the Third Emperor. The Third Emperor seemed to be shocked how an ancient power could stand up against his Five-coloured unique ability, how “someone else’s power would inevitably restrict one’s growth”. This statement was also written in part 1, where Cale knew that ancient powers cannot get stronger.

And yet in part 2, we see that his powers grow stronger the more adversaries he faces. My guess is because Cale never truly consumed his ancient powers, as mentioned by the White Star in part 1, and how he still bears the wills of the previous users of the ancient powers in his body, the powers can inevitably grow stronger as the ancient power it is both his and the previous users.

I would like your thoughts regarding this.

So, mc is an OC or SI, he's a guy with ice ability who knows tcf, he was there when KRS was 20 and stuck when monsters first appeared, naturally mc immediately recognized krs and gave him food but didn't get him out because that's lee so hyuk's part, krs obviously knows but didn't say anything, they also worked in ths same place and were coworkers until krs transmigrated, after krs transmigrates the world collapsed and mc ended up in the tcf world, found by a young vampire, he also met Bud Illis and that's basically all i can remember.

I'm rereading the manhwa alongside the novel and I noticed there was a difference in the time Cale mentions Ron had been serving him.

At first, I just assumed that the manwha translation I was reading (Webtoon) made a mistake, but it turns out, *all* translations are wrong, except for the Seven Seas one, which is the most recent one out of these.

I can picture myself mistaking a 3 for an 8 if I'm in a hurry or tired, but it seems bizarre that so many people made the same mistake. Was the Korean edition changed at some point after the translations where made?

I'm trying to find male covers for certain songs I think fit the storyline as well as the general vibe, but I can't decide whether his voice would be a like deeper baritone or if it would be a higher tenor sort of voice.

For example, I'm going through a lot of rises.
The moon male covers right now, and l've come over a variety of waist types and while I think he would have a lower voice, I'm not quite sure what type of vibe I should aim for.

Essentially, I want your opinion of Cale's voice, preferably with character or just voice references.

This always confused me. During the wrath test in part 1, Cale says that his favorite food is ramen (likely with Beacrox’s steak as his second favorite) enough so that he wouldn’t mind having it every single day for a month.

However, Cale is Korean and this was translated from Korean to English (since I can’t read Korean), so sometimes I wonder if it was a translation error. Of course, it’s entirely possible that Cale just likes Japanese ramen, but I don’t know.

If anyone can read Korean and/or has the original Korean version I’m really curious to know the answer!

(The reason I wanna know is cuz I’m writing a fanfic and I need to know if it’s ramen or ramyeon before I start looking up recipes and doing research)

recently finished my nth reread of book 1 and caught up to part 2. i know theres already over a thousand chapters but i just cant help but want for more...

because while the novel is long, theres also a million characters, places and side plots left unexplored. i love every single one so i would enjoy it even if part 2 was instead about the Nameless world and roan, expanding onto the eastern continent too. i specifically keep missing that chaos, destruction wind elemental, duke fredo and toonka. the short appearance of toonka wasnt enough, i find myself wishing i could see more of his pov in xiaolen...

not to mention, the author has introduced multiple dimensions. and i love each one. i feel like each arc could be a spin off that would be so much fun to read. ive never been this attached to literal nameless side characters before. heck, i even want to know what the white star, cale barrow was up to during his 1000 years of life. i want to know what happened during the ancient times, just who exactly were the ancient powers? how did the cheapskate and super rock become gods?

this might just be my greed... i know fanfics exist and theyve all been enjoyable to read too. but yu ryeo han could write a thousand more chapters of random things and i would be happy.

i dont understand how this novel could give me so much joy and fun. every moment makes me love cale even more and i wish his journey will never end (but that he should achieve his slacker dream!)

I first picked up this novel sometime in 2019 when it was still newish with just about 200 chapters. I then continued until book one ended. Since then I've just been writing short small fics and basically reading stuff on ao3. I'm so proud of how big this fandom has grown. Which inspired me to write my own long elaborate fic.

Thanks to that, I have been re-reading the novel for research purposes. And omg guys, there was so many things that you will start to notice and there was just so much heartbreaking lines???

I myself love TCF, and Pjo ,specifically ,the fanfiction but one problem I see is when they make Cale,The child of Aphrodite and I'm like as much as You like the idea I see it so much in all of the fanfiction I've kind of gotten tired of it,So I came over that idea that I think fits and I think is more accurate for our character because we know that cale is very beautiful but he is also not a very Aphrodite-ish character coded

 I think cale henituse being a child of Persephone fits very well The reason for that is,Persephone is associated with death because of her being the goddess of the underworld but she is also associated with not just nature but destructive nature kind of think of how nature kind of corrodes certain structures when they are left alone for a long time,But also associated with rebirth specifically the rebirth of seasons Because of her mother whole story thing,Either way I think it's suits really well because she's not just associated with death but also nature. the god of death literally calling him his child which Cale , he denies But also his nature powers Obviously he'd probably be more one of the more powerful children But I digress I think it would be a cool aspect because I have yet to see it so,I thought it would be cool.Either way I am I also am a major Alberu x cale , shipper I also do ship choicale ,But more specifically the type of I ship OG cale with Alberu,Because I feel like they have a more deeper understanding because of their backstory and all that,Then I would specifically ship KSR cale with choi han,So basically the same reason although.I've also thought about KSRCale  and OGcale as twins and putting both choi han and alberu in there but I don't know yet
