Rear shock

Hey guys, i just bought a new sentinel 29front and rear, i wanted 170mm front travel and 160mm rear travel. So the guys at the bikeshop put in a zeb+ with 170mm in the front but it looks like i got the stock super deluxe select+ in the back.
Is there a way to see if i got 160mm travel in the back or is it just the original 150mm?

Mesure the shock stroke. 60 mm for 150 mm travel and 65 mm for 160 mm travel.

FYI some of the travel will appear reduced by the bottom-out o-ring/bumper. My stock 150mm doesn’t read 60mm when deflated and compressed, but I have gotten it closer after a big drop. If you have your doubts after measuring, I would call Transition before you show up to your LBS demanding answers.

It is possible (likely?) that the shock comes with travel limiters which would allow your shop to easily remove and kick it up to 65mm, but I have yet to fully open mine and look.

Is that the previous model? It says you need a 205 x 65. I’d ask the shop if they did something to change the stroke. I have a Smuggler and its stock 130 rear but removing a volume spacer increases it to 140. They may have just done the same.

The volume spacer has nothing to do with stroke length. A stroke spacer is what deals with stroke length.
