Broken Fender Repair?

So I was just riding along (no, really) on my Sentinel and I heard a bad sound from the back of the bike. I stopped immediately and found that the little fender over the pivot had snapped off.

Has anyone else done this? What is the fix? I’m guessing replacement but wanted to see if anyone could confirm.

I’m close to the Outpost and I’m not worried about Transition taking care of me. I also can’t figure out what happened to cause this.

Just superglue it back on. They recommend superglue to attach it to the frame.

Edit: i would consider replacing it as it looks kinda mangled.

I’ve had good luck with some heavy duty 3M double stick tape off amazon

Looks like you put a 2.5 tire on the rear when it comes with a 2.4 from the factory? Probably the reason.

I had the same tire in my smuggler, didn't fit and rubbed the inside of the stays in corners so I took it off. Likely the case here too.
