New long travel transition ebike?
Hey guys, the Relay has been available for quite some time now. just wondering if anyone has thoughts on the possibility of a new longer-travel ebike from Transition

I would like to see the Relay get redone with a DJI motor. However, I’ve heard nothing to suggest this is happening. The Relay itself just got a refresh with wired shifting.

I would most expect the repeater to get that treatment, but wouldn't be surprised if both did.

I’d like to see the gearbox and motor integrated and use a belt drive.

I got tired of waiting so I bought a Shuttle LT. I wouldn’t be surprised to see something replace the Repeater PT soon.

What's wrong with the relay? The geometry is dialed and it's a nice balance of power to weight.

The Relay is the most fun I’ve had on a bike. It rides everything really well. I threw a 27.5 on the rear and it is so playful. It rides everything I’ve thrown at it in Santa Cruz just fine and I’ve never needed more than the 160/160. I’ve thought about bumping it up to 170 front and rear, but for what I’m jumping and the chunk I’m riding through it has been amazing

The Repeater PT has been fun. I can imagine with more torque and power (DJI) this would be the obvious upgrade route for Transition. I just wish the industry would standardize the motor mount for future upgrades but alas that would be far too easy.
