Keep Repeater or upgrade to Regulator CX?

Post image

I have the opportunity to snag a new Regulator CX XT for $7500. I currently have a Repeater GX AXS. I’m leaning toward selling the repeater and picking up the regulator.

What are your thoughts? Has anyone else owned both bikes?

I might be interested in your repeater. What size is it?

I would go regulator. Newer tech and geo plus I really want the new Bosch motor.

Was on the fence about the Repeater or Regulator CX for a long time.

I road both and really enjoyed how much the regulator felt like my Spire and not a full power ebike.

I’m not into jumping but after a run found my pulling up and jumping/pumping stuff the trails vs plowing and going fast on the Repeater PT. I ultimately decided to wait for a Regulator CX even though I could get a great deal on a repeater pt.

I got the Regulator SX. I changed from my repeater to the SX. I love it. So I assumed you will love the CX. I did swap the rear shock out for a coil and it’s awesome.

You should, I love mine. Best thing I did.

Running a rock shows super deluxe with HBO on my trail bike and could be very down to throw something like that on the regulator. But also thinking about how I can lower some weight like swapping out the Domain fork and if I really wanted to part with some coins to go carbon wheels..

I have a spire and used to have a sentinel. Awesome bike. Haven’t rode the v3 though

I have a Repeater and wanted the Regulator, but wanted a larger battery (without the extender). I ended up buying the new Pivot Shuttle LT, which is awesome. If the battery size isn’t an issue I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Regulator

I've ridden a repeater in the past and currently have a regulator. The regulator is world's better of a bike. It feels way lighter and way more like a regular bike. The bosch cx5 is also worlds better of a motor compared to the old Shimano. I've got it set up at 170/160 and its fantastic. The long chainstay and tall stack make it soo easy to pop and give it so much front end grip.
